The victory took Cagliari to 14th on the table, while Parma remained 12th on the log with 29 points from 24 rounds of action. Atalanta 1-3 AC Milan AC Milan solidified fourth position in Serie A with a 3-1 victory over Atalanta thanks to a brace by Krzysztof Piatek on Saturday evening.

Remo Freuler broke the deadlock for Atalanta in the 33rd minute but Piatek found the equaliser for Milan in first-half stoppage time. Hakan Calhanoglu made it 2-1 for Gennaro Gattuso’s charges ten minutes after halftime, while Piatek sealed the three points in the 61st minute, to give the visitors breathing space for the last half-an-hour.

Milan consolidated fourth position with 42 points from 24 rounds of matches while Atalanta remained fifth with 38 points from the same number of matches.
