Ludmya "Mia" Love (née Bourdeau; December 6, 1975) is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Utah's 4th congressional district since 2015. A Haitian American, Love is the first black woman Republican elected to Congress and the first Haitian American elected to Congress from the state of Utah.Born to Haitian parents in the New York City borough of Brooklyn, Love was elected mayor of Saratoga Springs, Utah in 2010. She was previously on its city council.
